Fulham FC Community Sports Trust & Kingston SSP created a quality, fun 'cricket breakfast club' in 8 primary schools at Key Stage 2 and 3, through linking with Fulham
Football Club and Kingston School Sports Partnership.  Click here for case study

Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sports Partnership Offered a weekly structured taster session in partnership with a local community boxing gym as a 'stepping stone' for young people to become involved in boxing.  Click here for case study

They also set up a programme targeted at a deprived area of the city where there are problems with children hanging around the streets and vandalising property.  Some of the children have been banned from shops in the area and from using local youth clubs. Click here for case study

Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership (Sasp) provided a scheme where Young carers could 'drop-in' for an organised evening of games and activities each week.  Click here for case study

Somerset also ran a multi sport scheme to increase participation in informal physical activity and sport which aimed to: improve self esteem and self confidence, reduce anti-social behaviour and encourage team building. Click here for case study

Pro-Active South London provided after school activities for Year 9 and 10 girls and boys who did not traditionally attend after school clubs.  Offering a range of activities which included; trampolining, kick boxing, boxing, street dancing, fencing, tennis and fitness) so that each week the pupils could try something different if they wanted.  Click here for case study

They also wanted to encourage semi sporty young people to become involved in water based sporting activities including in kayaking and sailing. Click here for case study

Cumbria Sports Partnerships new gymnastics club was over subscribed by 25% - attendance in excess of 90%.  Click here for case study

Saracens Sport Foundation ran a pilot project of 8 weekly 2 hour sessions - 30 minutes of coaching in two separate non-traditional activities, followed by an hour where participants could select an activity of their choice.  • Each week a minimum of two guest clubs provided coaching so that during the 8 week period participants had the opportunity to try a minimum of 16 extremely diverse sports - from sub-aqua to Gaelic football.
