CSPs lead local marketing campaigns, identify messages for targeted segments, design promotion material and use appropriate communications methods to help raise the profile of sport activities and events. CSPs have developed good links with their local media including print and radio.
CSPs work with national and local partners to help ensure campaigns and messages are successfully delivered resulting in more people becoming involved in sport and physical activity.
With over 45 officers, the CSP Network has a collective reach of 145,000 twitter followers and nearly 24,000 Facebook fans.
At a strategic level the CSP Network provides advice and helps national partners shape their campaigns and messages. CSPs then use their local knowledge and insight to deliver and communicate with their communities to ensure maximum impact.
